Serene camping and picnic areas are situated on the shores of Lake George and coast. Tracks from the lake through the park to the coast are 4WD only. Permits available online or at the visitor info centre.

Almost seven times saltier than the sea. The high salt concentration in the water makes swimming very easy as the water is extremely buoyant and noted for its healing qualities.

Beachport Conservation Park
Beachport Conservation Park is the perfect destination for bird lovers and nature admirers. There are bush camping sites. Free entry but a camping fee applies. Visit www.parks.sa.gov.au/
Sheltered picnic areas, swimming or wind surfing on Lake George. The Park is known for its weathered limestone cliffs and 'middens', which are the discarded remains of shellfish. Explore the dunes or trails to see the stunning panoramic views of the ocean or Lake George.
